Create a Plan for Layover Dining
When you have a long layover, enjoying a leisurely paced meal can be a treat. Check out the vegan options in the airport where you’re having the layover before your flight lands. Otherwise, you may waste your time walking to various restaurants and finding unsatisfactory options on the menu.
Some airports have all-vegan eateries, while most have at least some vegan-friendly ones. The Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has a 100-percent eatery called Real Food Daily in terminal 4. The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has The Plant Café that has a variety of options that are clearly labeled as vegan. The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) has a variety of vegan-friendly eateries such as Nature’s Table in Concourse E where you can vegan soup, vegan chili, and salads.
